Called “Sikum Moment,” the staff read bedtime stories, share things about the day, talk about tomorrow’s schedule to get the kids excited and much more. For many staff and campers, this is their favorite time of the day as it is a great way to wind down, get ready for bed, and it brings the whole group together and creates a “family atmosphere.” MEALS: We offer three balanced, nutritious kosher meals each day, along with two snacks. We have alternative vegetarian options and a salad bar available at lunch and dinner. Fruit and peanut butter & jelly are always available throughout the day in our Chadar O’Chell along with juices and water. ACTIVITIES: Cabin activities include our Challenge Courses (low and high ropes) Israeli culture, horseback riding, sports, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, Arts and Crafts, Pottery, Drama and much more. Instructional Swimming is for Sabra and Kineret campers only and occurs in the morning or early afternoon. Campers will visit every program area at least once with their cabin group as a cabin activity. |
